Rev. Elisabeth Smith was appointed to the Grantham United Methodist Church in Grantham NH in July 2019. She is also the pastor at the Lake Sunapee United Methodist Church. Office hours are available by request. You can reach Pastor Elisabeth at [email protected].
The Work of the Pastor
As pastor, Rev. Smith prepares and leads worship, preaching each Sunday morning at 9:00 in Grantham NH and 10:30 in Sunapee NH.

When you are facing a difficult decision and would like someone to discuss it with, she is here to listen and to offer prayer for wisdom and guidance. When planning a wedding, Pastor Elisabeth can provide premarital counseling and planning for a Christian ceremony. When anticipating a death in the family, let her pray for you and your loved one as she or he transitions from this life to the eternal. She is available available for visits in homes and make pastoral care visits in hospitals, nursing homes, etc. Pastor Elisabeth is here to serve you and encourage you in all of life’s situations.
Background
Pastor Elisabeth was ordained to the ministry in 1984. She served in the South Carolina Annual Conference for 15 years before moving to New England in 2002. She currently serves on the Conference Board of Church and Society.
